Service Description

This immersive, two-hour workshop allows students the unique opportunity of learning in a real, fully-functional court room at the University of Lincoln.

Students will learn about the work of their local court and develop their understanding of the legal system by participating in an age-appropriate, interactive ‘mock trial’.

They will sit in a model court, hear the case presented by their peers, and make their decision as to the sentence. They will engage in their own decision-making using guidance supplied.

Materials will be provided on the day, including

  • pre-set guidance
  • role allocation
  • scripts
  • questions and answers
