Solid Recovered Fuel and Refuse Derived Fuel - Find a freedom of information request

I would like to know any information about your processing of waste:

1. Do you pay for SRF ans RDF waste to be disposed of?

If so:

- what was the weight of each type of waste

- how much did you pay for each type of waste to be disposed of per tone.

2. Are you paid for SRF and RDF waste disposal?

If so:

- what was the weight of each type of waste

- how much were you paid or each type of waste to be disposed of.

- Where was the energy used?

3. Is there any website you have that relates to this was amd further information?

4. Do to process waste to make better quality SRF and RDF waste?

- if so what processes/Machinery/ technologies do you use?

Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) sends residual waste to the Energy from Waste (EfW) facility in North Hykeham, Lincolnshire for disposal. This is not SRF or RDF as it is not processed before incineration. The EFW is operated on behalf of LCC by FCC Recycling (Lincolnshire) Ltd. LCC sends approximately 170,000 tonnes of residual waste per year to this EFW. The prices paid under this contract are considered to be commercially sensitive as the contract is live.
