Holiday Fun 0 to 5 years to include siblings up to 8 years - Animals UK - 5 August only

By popular demand we are offering our sensory sessions for older children as well as babies. Bring along your children to this trial special session. Explore lots of lights, sounds and textures.

The centre is closed on bank holiday Monday 26 August.

Tuesdays

Let’s Get Active 0 to 5 years

Children will be encouraged to be active in a range of activities such as running, jumping, balancing, climbing and throwing to develop their coordination.

Time: 10am
Duration: 1 hour


Speech and Language drop in - no session 13 August

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development. Due to popularality of drop in session at Swingbridge it is now advised to make an appointment to ensure you are seen. Please email lhnt.familyhub-salt@nhs.net sating which family hub you would like to be seen at. A Speech and Language Therapy Assistant Practitioner will get back to you and arrange an appropriate day and time.

Baby Massage - starts 23 July 

This five-week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships. To book onto this session, email SwingbridgeCC@lincolnshire.gov.uk

Wednesdays

Pop in and Play 0 to 5 years - siblings up to 8 years welcome

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Incredible Years Baby (0 to 12 months)

This parenting programme covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old.
This course will be up to 12 weeks, depending on the needs of the group. To book onto this course email SwingbridgeCC@lincolnshire.gov.uk.

Multi-national Pop in and Play

This session enables parents and carers to play with their babies to stimulate their brains to learn and develop.  Activities will support babies to meet their development milestones and ‘home learning’ ideas will be given so you can continue to support your baby’s development through play at home.

Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.
