Holiday Fun 0 to 5 to include siblings up to 8 years - 19 August only

A fun filled and exciting session for families to enjoy where they will be joining in activities, games and singing songs, come along and have some fun.

Pop in and play

For children 0 to 5 years with siblings up to 8.

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes


Please note that our children's centres will be closed on bank holiday Monday, 26 August.

Tuesdays

Little Explorers 0 to 5 years

A sensory play session encouraging children to explore a range of messy play activities such as water, sand, crafts, gloop and play dough.

Cost: free
Time: 10am
Duration: 1 hour


Speech and Language drop in

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development.

Cost: free
Time: 10am
Duration: 2 hours


Incredible Years Baby 0 to 12 months

This parenting programme that covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 
It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old. This course will be up to 12 weeks, depending on the needs of the group.

For children with disabilities with complex health needs in their early years up until they transition into statutory full-time education.

Top Tips for Babies 3 to 4 months - 22 August only

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development.  It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family. To book email Birchwoodcc@lincolnshire.gov.uk

Baby Massage - Starting 8 August

BreastStart group

For pregnant or breastfeeding parents.

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

The Early Days

A programme to support families and their new babies in a relaxed and friendly environment. Opportunities to meet other new parents, take part in activities such as singing, sharing books and provide mini taster activities, sharing with you what might be on offer in your local Children’s Centre.
