Potter and Play - at Sutton on Sea - no session 26 August

Pop along and explore the toys in the playroom with your children under 5. You can come along by yourselves or with friends and follow your child’s lead and play with the things that interest them. We just ask that you tidy away before you go home.

Early Explorers under 1s - no session 26 August

Babies learn through their senses. This session will provide a range of opportunities for babies to explore different messy play activities such as sand, water, gloop and cereals.

Little Explorers 0 to 5 years - at Sutton on Sea

Solihull Antenatal Education Programme, group for parents - 24 July- 28 August

The Solihull Antenatal Education Programme is intended for parents to be, and their birthing partner. This is a six-week programme designed to provide you with information around parent and baby relationships, labour and birth, breast feeding and caring for you baby. If you are 28 weeks pregnant or over and would like to attend this funded programme, please register using the link below:

Baby Massage - Starts 24 July

This five-week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.

Top Tips for babies - 7 August only

Suitable for parents and carers of 3 to 4-month-old babies. A relaxed and informal session delivered by early years professionals sharing our top tips for babies approaching the start of their weaning adventure. We will cover topics such as introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention, age-appropriate development, learning and your local offer for your baby.

The Early Days

A programme to support families and their new babies in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Opportunities to meet other new parents, take part in activities such as singing, sharing books and provide mini taster activities, sharing with you what might be on offer in your local Children’s Centre.

This session will support children to become confident communicators through songs, rhymes, exploring and sharing books.

Breast start breastfeeding group

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Incredible Years Baby (0 to 12 months) - Ends 26 July

This parenting programme that covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby.
It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old.

Sensory room

Maximum of three households at one time.

Our sensory room is designed to develop baby’s and children’s senses such as feel, vision, sound and smell through lighting, music and objects. Come and explore a variety of sensory resources in a calm relaxed environment.
