Toll Barr road in Grantham where it joins the A1 between the old barn hotel and the petrol station at the junction of the A1 - Find a freedom of information request

Information relating to a repair made to a road surface in the early part of 2023. The site is on Toll Barr road in Grantham where it joins the A1 between the old barn hotel and the petrol station at the junction of the A1

I would like to know:

1) What service level agreement do you have in place with other agencies relating to the repair of surfaces following works. I would also like to see any documents relating to the governance of this SLA.

2) What rubble was taken away and the size of the potholes in depth, width and length ,I would also like to know going back from JUNE 22 about this road as the damage was caused before the road was fixed in 2023

3) I would also like to see copies of all emails and correspondence that relate to these works between July 2022 and the date this request is processed

Any works carried out by Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) Highways are prescribed within its term maintenance contract and ordered in line with our policies and contractual agreements. LCC have no direct SLAs in place with other companies such as utilities as specifications for the works they carry out are covered under the New Roads and Streetworks Act. In all cases LCC have monitoring in place to check for quality of materials and workmanship and well as checking works against the specification.

Taking account of the estimated and actual size of works, the shape of the pothole / edge damage and the levels / depths within the potholes which will be uneven and not consistent, LCC would estimate it has removed approximately three tonnes of old material. It cannot give an exact figure as disposal of materials would be batched together at various times and tipped together with materials from other sites.
