Request

1. Can you confirm the date the council migrated to Microsoft Office M365/O365?

2. Can you confirm what versions and quantities of licences that were used immediately prior to migration to licence your desktops, and were these licences 'owned' by the council (Perpetual) or (On-Premise paid for monthly so not owned). - You may need to reach out to the reseller the council used at the time who will give you this information.

3. How many M365 subscriptions does the council currently have and what versions and quantities are currently subscribed?

4. What Microsoft Server products (If any) and versions do you currently have licensed? For example, Windows Server 2016, SQL Server 2016?

Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. April 2020

2. All licences owned by LCC through their Microsoft Volume licence agreement(s). The migration went live in stages between late 2019 and early 2021. The numbers provided (attached) are for Jan 2000, towards the beginning of the Project

3. 6366 E5’s

4. Data covers (attached) licences owned through LCC's Enterprise Agreements and Enterprise Subscription Agreement. This does not cover any Azure PAYG resource.
