Sand and Gravel extraction - Find a freedom of information request

1) How has this Area of Search in South Lincolnshire been decided and why is it only located around the Deepings, Baston, Langtoft area?

2) I cannot understand and I would appreciate your explanation as to why other areas of South Lincolnshire are being ignored for Sand and Gravel extraction and why LCC is placing all of the burden, as it has for the last 70 plus years on our Deepings area?

The Areas of Search referred to are defined within the first part of the Lincolnshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan - the “Core Strategy and Development Management Policies” document.

This was adopted by the county council in June 2016 and is available on our website: https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/planning/minerals-waste

Paragraph 5.32 sets out why certain areas were excluded. Please find attached BGS document which underpins the Core Strategy and Development Management Policies document.
