Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. County News is Lincolnshire County Council’s publication, delivered to around 330,000 Lincolnshire households and businesses three times a year.

It includes the latest news from the authority, as well as features on how our services are making a difference to people’s lives. The magazine is an important way of distributing information to residents, reflecting that in a large rural county with a higher-than-average population of older people, we cannot rely purely on digital communications.

County News is used to let residents know about services that may help them, events in the county and how to get in touch with the council or their local councillor.

The publication supports many of the council’s ambitions, for example supporting local businesses, helping our residents live full and active lives and helping families to give children the best start in life.

2-3. The total cost (design, printing and distribution) for the last edition (winter/spring) of County News, distributed from the start of December 2022 was £78,863.
