Books removed from libraries in 2021 and 2022 - Find a freedom of information request

1. In light of recent allegations, please can you provide me with the number of David Walliams books removed from libraries in your council area in 2021 and 2022?

If possible, please provide separate figures for each year.

1. Lincolnshire’s Library Service provider has not removed any David Williams books from the collection linked to any recent allegations. In line with their policy, material is not rejected for inclusion because it is controversial and inclusion in the collection does not imply endorsement of a work.

Items by this author will have been withdrawn in the last two years but this will be as part of the day to day stock maintenance programme and items physical condition no longer meeting stock quality guidelines, however this is not something that figures can be produced for.
