1. What if any projects or works or policy does the Council have to evaluate the use of alternative polymer materials in road making, surfacing and maintenance and footpaths. Namely replacing asphalt with recycled plastic?

1. Currently Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) has not utilised asphalt containing recycled plastics, although LCC are actively monitoring developments in this field for ways of positively reducing the carbon footprint of highways maintenance.
