Decision

1. £117,958.83

2. As yet Lincolnshire County Council does not hold this information

3. LCC anticipate works will be completed within the next 2 weeks.

4. Whilst Anglian Water works are being completed, we are carrying out minor repairs to the highways surface water drains in the vicinity and will fully reinstate the road with new material from the ground up and resurface over this. Whilst underlying ground conditions and soil in the area will always be susceptible to movement, particularly in period of drought or extreme rainfall, this is considered a permanent solution.

5. There are similar soils in the surrounding area of the County, let alone Holbeach, so as water tables move or there is drought the earth under buildings and roads can move. LCC try and engineer our repairs to last as long as possible under these conditions, making them flexible. However our own and AW drainage assets are also susceptible to and can be damaged by this movement so we are never able to guarantee 100% there couldn't be similar issues in other locations in future years. LCC consider the repairs we are carrying out as permanent a solution as is possible.
