Disabled Parking Louth Active Travel Scheme
1 Is there something akin to an impact assessment or not? A formal impact assessment may not be needed hence my wording 'or similar' and 'however titled'. i am trying to establish what effects LCC thought the trial would have on disabled people. You may be aware that i had previously established through FOI that there are 1911 Blue Badge holders in postcode LN11.
2. Is Disability Lincs the only DPO that you consulted, distinct from a public invitation to comment?
Age UK locally or in London? Age UK represent a different Protected Characteristic ie Age not disability though i have discussed age and disability with London. Age does not engage the Equality Act s 20 anticipatory duty to make reasonable adjustments whereas disability does. - Decision

1. A formal Equalities Impact Assessment has not been completed at this time due to the experimental nature of the order in place for the intervention. A full EIA will be completed should the decision be made to make the intervention permanent.
2. LCC did not formally consult with Age UK or Disability Lincolnshire - correspondence was sent to both organisations to inform them of the plans for the scheme in Louth. A public engagement exercise was conducted that all local groups and members of the public could contribute to. Written representations are able to be received and are still being received.
