1. What is the cost per mile spent on Lincolnshire Roads per annum? i.e. How the budget is calculated.

2. How many staff are employed in the LCC highways department, including top to bottom?

3. How many times have potholes Kings Road in Stamford been 'repaired/filled' in the last five years?

Decision

1. Lincolnshire County Council spent approximately £13,014.15 per mile on Lincolnshire's 5736 mile road network during the financial year 2020/21.

This included both reactive and planned works budgets and covers works on all of the following:

  • Carriageways
  • Footways
  • Structures
  • Street Lighting
  • Drainage
  • Traffic Signals
  • Street Furniture
  • Winter Maintenance 
  • Other Maintenance Costs
