Services for Personal Budget Provision for Lincolnshire County Council - Find a freedom of information request

I have been advised that Pendrals have been re contracted/or their contracts been altered to provide additional services for personal budget provision for Lincolnshire County Council.

Please provide under the Freedom of Information Act,

1. Details of the change of contract, including key performance indicators and whether this has resulted in an increase in financial terms for the provision of such additional activities.

2. Please also include the total cost of the contract.

1. The aims, objectives and delivery expectations within the specifications of the previous and current contract have not fundamentally changed. Performance monitoring was reviewed as part of the recommissioning exercise and updated, as is normal practice, additional targeting was introduced into the new contract related to completion of timely reviews, training, and service user outcomes including independence in managing their direct payment.

In terms of increase in value:

• The core budget for the service was increased in the new contract, but the value reflected the actual spend of the previous service, which was used as a benchmark.
• The payment mechanism was simplified in the new contract, but did not have an impact on the financial terms.
• There are no additional activities which have an impact on the financial terms of the contract.
