I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from the relevant departments across the council. Please may you provide me with the answers to the following questions:

Q1 What is the total number of all forms of vehicular transport operated by the council?

a Total number of vehicles

b Of these how many are currently pure electric?

Q2 Can you advise of the number of Workplace Electric Vehicle (EV) charge points?

a Already installed

b Planned to be installed

Q3 Can you advise how many workplace EV charge points are available?

a for council fleet only

b for council owned fleet and employee-owned or leased vehicles

c for council owned fleet, employees and suppliers

d for visitors to council premises

Q4 How was the EV charge point installation funded (please tick all that apply)?

a Grants (eg OZEV, Central Government, other)

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 

Q1.a.704

b.The property contractor (VINCI) is trialling the use of electric vehicles.

Q2.a. Some Workplace Electric Vehicle (EV) charge points are available at Business Centres for tenants and visitors - not for LCC staff.

Already installed 2 (plus 4 at the LCC Blue Light Station at South Park, but these are for Police use)

Q3. Two EV charge points are available to staff and visitors when the main campus car park is open.

Q4. These were funded directly through the sustainability budget d. For the EV charge points at the LCC Blue light station (Police)

Q5. LCC are in the process of developing a scheme or schemes for a potential LEVI funding bid Q6 Not yet completed, in the process of development.

Q7. It depends on the grant sometimes it is one of these options, sometimes several, or all of them, it is very variable
