Street parties on the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend - Find a freedom of information request

1.Please send me information on how many applications the council has received to date to host street parties on the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend of 2-5 June 2022

2.and how many applications have been approved?

3.Please also state what your reasons were for rejecting any applications

4.and what your application process to host such an event is.

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. As of 10/05/22 Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) have received 202 applications for street parties and events over the Jubilee weekend.

2. All street parties have been approved and are being supported by LCC.

3. Lincolnshire County Council have not rejected any.

4. The process involves going to the LCC landing page:

where the applicant can access information about hosting a street party or event, there is then a street party form that can be completed. If the celebration is larger than a street party the applicant completes the Event on the Highway form to be processed as an event with further input from all major stakeholders.
