Church Lane, Harmston - Find a freedom of information request

I understand that some of the HGVs which use Church Lane, Harmston on a daily basis are vehicles contracted by LCC and using LCC approved routes.

I would be interested in discussing this further with those involved in this process.

The vehicles (marked as belonging to a company called 'Bulk Waste (MIdlands) Ltd') are transporting waste from Boston and Sleaford to the EFW centre at North Hykeham.

I would be grateful if you can assist me in identifying

a) who would be responsible for the procurement of this contract and

b) who, within LCC, would have approved this particular route and what criteria will have been used in this process? 

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

a). Head of Waste, Lincolnshire County Council

b). The route was agreed with the haulage operator in an effort to reduce the mileage of contracted vehicles.

The route does not have any weight restrictions applicable to HGVs and was therefore deemed appropriate
