Datasets for Recorded Surface Road Defects - Find a freedom of information request

We are looking for historical and current datasets for whole years of recorded surface road defects in your area.

We need the data to cover all of the roads that you manage.

Preferably we need the data to include the date that a defect has been recorded/occurred, the defect that has occurred, and the road location of the defect.

In particular we are looking at the following defects: surface deterioration, joint defectiveness, defective surface dressing, reflection cracking, rutting, settlement, kerb deterioration, edge deterioration, potholes, manholes and gullies.

Please see the attached dataset. Included is data from 1 January 2016 until 5 April 2021. This will allow the user of the data to split into calendar or financial years (between the given dates).

Also, as some of the subjects may differ slightly in regards to name, e.g. manhole cover may be listed as Ironworks or IW for example, listed are all related enquiries raised using subjects that the user may be interested in based on their supplied list. This means there are many more subjects than what has been requested.
