Decision

Please note any buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000 may contain asbestos.

However, as long as the asbestos-containing material (ACM) is in good condition there is negligible risk. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) manages asbestos in all its properties in accordance with the requirements of all relevant health and safety legislation and guidance. The condition of all known ACMs present in LCC’s community schools and voluntary controlled schools is monitored on a regular basis and remedial action carried out when required.
