Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting the following information:
1. How many enquiries did your local authority receive concerning the trading of puppies in 2020 and 2021?
2. How many investigations into the trading of puppies did your local authority undertake in 2020 and 2021?
3. How many prosecutions relevant to the trading of puppies did your local authority undertake in 2020 and 2021?

2021: 48.
2. All 89 complaints were reviewed by the duty officer and assessed based on the history of the trader, intelligence held and the nature and severity of the complaint. 35 enquiries were either traders outside of Lincolnshire (referred to the Trading Standards Service within their area) or had no trader details. Only four traders received two or more complaints. 14 traders were investigated - concerning 24 complaints made against them.
