We are requesting information about the fee rates paid by local authorities to voluntary sector providers for the provision of home care and residential social care services.

We have drawn on the categories used and described by the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services to define the information we are requesting. 1. Please provide the following information regarding the fee rates paid to voluntary sector providers in October 2021 for the provision of CQC regulated activities delivered to disabled adults in their home, including those with a learning disability and/or autism.

a. The lowest rate, in pounds and pence per hour.

b. The highest rate, in pounds and pence per hour.

c. The mean average rate, in pounds and pence per hour.

Please provide the above information for each of the following categories:

• Provision of care for adults aged 18 - 64, in their own home
• Provision of care for adults aged 18 - 64, in supported living and extra care housing (CQC-regulated care only).
• Provision of care for adults aged 65 and over, in their own home
• Provision of care for adults aged 65 and over, in supported living and extra care housing (CQC-regulated care only).

2. Please provide the following information regarding the fee rates paid to voluntary sector providers in October 2021 for fully state-funded residential social care placements for disabled adults, including those with a learning disability and/or autism.
