Youth Centres 2018-2021 - Find a freedom of information request

1. From 2018 to date, please provide by year a list of the council operated or funded youth centres which have operated in your borough including:

a) whether they opened or closed during each year (permanently rather temporarily eg. because of Covid)

b) whether they were fully or part-funded

c) the annual council budget for each youth centre each year

d) number of full time equivalent (FTE) staff for each youth centre each year

e) number of children and young people served per youth centre per year

2. From the Covid lockdown on 23 March 2020 to date how much time was each youth centre open and how much was it closed?

3. From 2016 to date, please provide, by year, the council's overall budget for youth services

d). The number of FTE staff is not collected for centres which are run by community groups/organisation's. However Lincolnshire County Council employs a team of Youth & Community Development Workers to operate provision across the county including some centres. The number of FTE staff in the team is 10 and has remained this number from 2018 to date.

e). This information is not collected for centres which are run by external community groups/organisations. However for LCC operated provision the numbers of children and young people served by the youth centres is included in the table above.

2. All LCC Youth Centre's across the county closed for open access provision during the period of March 2020 to July 2020 as part of the initial national lockdown. In line with further national lockdowns centre's also closed between the periods of Nov 2020 to March 2021.
