Can you provide the initial response the council supply to victims of a pothole incident causing damage to their vehicle?

Once stating they wish to make a claim, what is the response of the council?

Decision

Following a submission of a claim, an acknowledgement email is sent by the Council's insurance team thanking the customer for the claim received and advising the customer that the matter has been passed to Legal Services Lincolnshire to deal with. The response further advises that a formal acknowledgement will follow shortly from Legal Services detailing any further information that may be required to process the claim and in the meantime, should they have any enquiries, they are able to contact Legal Services on the contact details provided in the email.
