Family Time Spending/Allowances - Find a freedom of information request

I was hoping to make a request for some information under the Freedom of Information Act regarding financial support and spend on contact.

In particular I would like to know

1. Is there any staff guidance / process around spending and costs for facilitating and promoting contact e.g. between a looked after child and birth parents or extended family. Could we have a copy of any written guidance.

2. What sorts of venue environments in the community are they encouraged to use (if any). Again if there is any written guidance could we see this?

3. What is the staff spend allowed e.g. reimbursing travelling to contact, cost for food or activities during contact. Again if there is any written guidance could we see this?

1. LCC provides family time in adherence to the children act. This is provided to all children in care as agreed within their care plans. Family Time is reviewed at each child in care review. There are 8 sites across Lincolnshire, where Family Time is provided.

2. Each child's Family Time is risk assessed and a suitable venue is identified to support the Family Time Sessions, this can be within one of the 8 centres or within the community.

3. Family Time Workers do not have a budget for food/activities during Family Time.
