Grass Verges - Goodliff Road, Grantham - Find a freedom of information request

1.Can you please provide me with the following:

a).who owns the grass verges along Goodliff road in Grantham (NG31 7QB), specifically between number 92 and 100. This is the area between the footpath and the road surface,

b). is there any specific rights for the owner of the house in front of that verge.

c). Could you please also provide me with information relating to the driveway the covers that area, if council-owned, then what is the right of way for the occupant of that house. ie. it must be kept free for that occupant or if it can be blocked.

1a.The verges are highway maintainable so LCC has the maintenance liability for them.

b. Anyone can park on the verge as long as their vehicle is legally allowed to be on the road. If it is not then the Police should be informed.

c. Obstruction of an access (driveway) is a Police matter as access has to be maintained and cannot be blocked.
