With the recent news that Lincoln is again to be used for filming I am hoping to find out more about how much money is brought into the city/county through these opportunities.
Link to our most recent story: https://thelincolnite.co.uk/2021/11/hollywood-filmmaker-ridley-scott-casting-for-new-movie-in-lincoln-starring-joaquin-phoenix/
The city has also recently been used for the King and Peterloo, while the wider Lincolnshire area has been used for films such as Rush and the latest Batman film currently in production.
1.Please can you tell me: Since 2000, how much Lincolnshire County Council made in income from films using the city's streets and buildings including road closure charges?
2.If possible please can you break this down by film, year, and locations used? - Decision

1. Lincolnshire County Council started to formally log the filming on the highways in early 2021 of which we have had 7 applications from June 2021 – Mar 2022.
2 applications have been charged at £670.85 each
1 application which has been charged at £730.75
The suspensions are charged at £25.00 for each application TTRO’s with less than five days duration are charged at £670.85 each, since 2021 we have had 2 applications.
TTRO’s greater than five days duration are charged at £730.75 and again since 2021 we have had 1 application. We have had 2 applications for suspensions which are charged at £25 each.
Lincolnshire County Council only charge for use of the highway for filming where it involves a road closure or parking bay suspension, in line with what we would charge a utility company or other contractor. Each application is assessed on its impact to the network, and LCC advise accordingly where necessary
