Can you as part two of request state how many times in 2020 were they used in betterment cases by Lincolnshire county council as if hired were employed.

Lincolnshire county Council confirm that there were no cases requiring the instruction of a mechanical loss adjuster in respect of betterment in 2020. In the majority of claims received, the repairs to the vehicle have already been completed by the time a claim is made and/or the issue of betterment can be resolved by agreement making the instruction of a mechanical loss adjuster unnecessary.
