Request

1 . Since November 1st 2020, How many potholes have been filled in by the county Highways team, and how many have been reported.

 

2. Since November 1st 2020 what has been the cost of fixing these potholes to the county council and how much compensation has been given out as a result of pothole related accidents.

Decision

1. Since 1st November 2020 up till the 24th of February 2021(when this information was provided), 14,675 pot holes have been filled with 6121 pot hole enquiries being reported

 

2. The cost of fixing these potholes to date has come to £581,633.75. Please also note, in April 2020, Lincolnshire County Council entered into a new Term Maintenance Contract and at this point the way in which the pothole data is measured, recorded, raised and reported changed significantly from the approach used in the previous contract. As such, a like for like comparison of cost per year, based on previous years, will no longer provide a fair reflection of the overall cost per year.
