Lincolnshire County Council does not have a written policy regarding discounts applied for betterment. However, we can confirm that a discount of 20% for betterment is usually applied in relation to tyres as it is to be expected that tyres will usually have some degree of wear and tear. The discount for betterment in relation to other vehicle parts is considered on a case by case basis.
