Potholes Reported B6403 Great Ponton - Find a freedom of information request

The information I would like to request is the number of potholes reported and the number of compensation claims along with the total amount paid in compensation for the stretch of the B6403, High Dike from the roundabout at the A52 to the junction of Dallygate, Great Ponton. The date range for 01 October 2019 – 31 October 2020.

The request is relating to the stretch of the B6403, High Dike from the roundabout at the A52 to the junction of Dallygate, Great Ponton. The date range for 01 October 2019 - 31 October 2020:

1. Please provide the number of potholes reported in this area during this time period.

2. The number of compensation claims made regarding them.

3. The total amount paid in compensation relating to these claims.

1. Pot holes 'reported' is likely to be coved under how many pot hole enquiries were raised, no matter the originating source, internal/external to Lincolnshire County Council (LCC). However, internally, additional jobs were also instructed and therefore both the number of potential pot hole enquires raised, together with the number of pot hole jobs performed (as recorded within LCC's Asset Management System) have been included:

There were four pot hole enquiries raised and thirteen pot hole jobs completed on High Dike B6403, from the roundabout at the A52 to the junction of Dallygate, Great Ponton (exact points of reference on Google maps for stretch of road analysed shown as reference points 52.863993, -0.604336 and 52.895681, -0.592201) between 1 October 2019 and 31 October 2020

Please note, pot hole enquiries raised may have referred to one or more pot hole, e.g. one enquiry may have related to five pot holes on one part of the road. Furthermore, enquiries can be raised by different sources, meaning that one or more of these pot hole enquiries may have referred to the same pot hole. Similarly, with pot hole jobs during this time frame, one job may have dealt with more than one pot hole, e.g. one pot hole job may have meant one, eight, twelve, forty, etc. pot holes were fixed at any one visit.

2. Lincolnshire County Council have 37 claims recorded between 1 October 2019 to 31 October 2020 for the section of road requested.

3. The total amount of compensation paid within the date range is £12,598.47.
