Resurfacing of Burgh Lane, Irby in the Marsh - Find a freedom of information request

Request

The agreement made between Highways and Triton Knoll/Murphys in relation to the resurfacing/reinstatement of Burgh Lane, Irby in the Marsh once their project is completed?

Decision

As the Triton Knoll project comes to a close, their contractor (Murphy's) has been removing their access points on the highway. Wherever there was an access point and where a road was utilised by the project as part of their Development Consent Order, the Highway Authority will carry out an inspection of the area and agree any remedial work required.

Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) are aware that Murphy's have some further work to do at Burgh Lane prior to our inspection. Whilst LCC will not be able to hold Triton Knoll liable for general wear and tear/deterioration of the highway, LLC know they are committed to ensuring they address any issues which directly relate to their work.
