The council does not hold records which are explicit in identifying ransomware as a specific type of attack. It may be helpful to know however that the council recorded 76234 cyber-attacks which used email as the delivery mechanism during 2018 and 2019 i.e. malware, phishing. There were no successful ransomware attacks recorded during 2018 and 2019.
