Policies on Domestic and Trade Recycling - Find a freedom of information request

1. I understand recycling collection is the responsibility of local district councils, but I am unsure who devises the Policies on domestic and trade recycling.

If it is in fact the County Council could you advise me on how I can access those policies please.

Decision

Recycling collection and the associated policies are primarily the responsibility of the seven district councils in Lincolnshire.

The Lincolnshire Waste Partnership involves all waste authorities and is currently involved with reviewing waste services in the county to reflect both the new recently-adopted Lincolnshire Joint Municipal Waste Management Strategy and to take account of emerging requirements of the national Waste and Resource Strategy.
