Notifications of Removal from School Roll - Find a freedom of information request

1. The number of notifications of removal from school roll (e.g. completion of notification forms) made to the local authority in each of the following school years, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19 to date, broken down by school.

2. The number of notifications of removal from school roll made to the local authority in each of the following school years, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19 to date, broken down by the reason given for removing the child from the school roll.

3. The number of child missing education (CME) referrals made to the local authority in each of the following school years, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19 to date.  

1&2. The below table contains information in relation to FOI0198. The information included in this report is for academic years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018. Information relating to 2014/2015, 2015/2016 academic years is not included as data was not collected in this time frame. 2018/2019 data has not been included as this is not a complete dataset.

Unfortunately LCC have not been able to include reasons for removal from school roll as LCC do not collect that information.
