Please note this response consists of purchases and conservation works only, carried out directly to or in relation to artefacts affiliated with the Usher Gallery collection.
The figure reflects the direct spending of Lincolnshire County Council funding only. Expenditure relating to works and purchases carried out with the support of external local and national grant funding, bequests and donations, or by borrowers in relation to conservation as part of a loan process (which provides significant support to these areas in addition to internal funding) has been omitted from this analysis on the basis that this is not direct expenditure from Lincolnshire County Council budgets.
The sum provided neither takes into account wider general budgetary expenditure in relation to collections management, care, access or engagement on Usher Gallery collections and programming, which are delivered strategically and holistically from central budgets across sites and service areas.
