1. Works are not carried out via an internal workforce.

a. The vast majority of works are not carried out through a Framework but rather through a direct Contract.

b. The current contract started on 1 April 2020 and is for an initial six year term with six possible one year extensions.

d. Provision is made within the contract for temporary traffic management

3. The procurement for this contract was carried out via a restricted procedure with negotiation under the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) and UK procurement regulations and most of the works as described in your definition are procured using this contract.
