1. During 2017, 2018 and 2019, no contracts with Independent Providers have been terminated. Notice will have been served on a number of individual placement agreements during that time, as children and young people have needed to change provision, however no overarching contracts with those Providers have been terminated and therefore no termination costs have been incurred.
2. Lincolnshire County Council's policy is that no placements will be made with any residential provision that have an Ofsted rating of 'requires improvement' or 'inadequate' at the time of placement except in exceptional circumstances and only with Director approval. Where such a rating is received after a placement has been made, social workers work with the home and other parties to determine the best course of action for the individual child. During 2017, 2018 and 2019, no residential placements have needed to be suspended or terminated, where an Ofsted rating declined from 'good' or 'outstanding' to 'requires improvement' or 'inadequate'.
