1. What is the policy regarding time for a "Christmas lunch" during working hours?
2. What do the council do for other faiths?
3. Are staff allowed to attend more than one during work hours?

1. There is no corporate policy regarding time off for a celebratory lunch during the Holiday period. Managers have local discretion to allow time off for example, some service areas allow a maximum of 2 hours with any additional time taken as flexi or annual leave
2. All employees irrespective of religion or belief are permitted to participate in a lunch and all requests are reasonably considered by Managers.
3. At managers discretion a maximum of 2 hours paid time off is usually permitted to attend one celebratory meal. If staff wish to attend more than one meal this would usually be taken as flexi – leave, Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) or annual leave
