1. For the year 2010/2011, what was the total budget (£) allocated to sexual health services? I would also like to know what percentage this is of the total council budget.

Decision

1.For the year 2010/2011Sexual Health Services were provided by NHS and ULHT (United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust) and therefore not part of the Council Budget

  • For the years 2018/19 the total budget allocated to sexual health services was £5,634,257.00
  • For the years 2019/20 the total budget allocated to sexual health services was £5,634,257.00

 

3. For the year 2010/2011Sexual Health Services were provided by NHS and ULHT (United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust) and therefore not part of the Council Budget.

Any information requests prior to 2016 need to be sent to Lincolnshire Community Health Service. (LCHS)

Frontline sexual health services in Lincolnshire are provided through a number of different contracts and have remained constant during the years 2018/19 and 2019/20.

Three Hubs and nine spokes is the baseline for LiSH

Additionally there is an outreach team who provide 'Pop Up' clinics at a wide range of locations
This team use a mobile clinic for some locations
Another raft of clinics have opened when pockets of need have arisen or in more rural locations. Some have not been utilised so have closed, others have been welcomed and well used leading to another 6 regular clinics.
On line testing services are available for chlamydia screening and a small team work on data collection, reporting to national databases and partner notification.

The LiSH service also provides training in Sexual and Reproductive Health across Lincolnshire

Hubs are open 8am-8pm Mon to Friday with two Saturday mornings per month from 10am-2pm
Spokes are open for between one to three days in the week
from 8am-8 pm

The 6 clinics that have emerged and have full clinics operate as spokes.

Please note that the current focus on Covid-19 means that at present not all clinics are open, alternative digital and remote triage services are being provided with three central clinics remaining open for urgent/emergency appointments.
