Common Land - Find a freedom of information request

1. Please can you provide me with a list and map of all of the common land located in your district boundary?

2. Can you confirm if a property is affected by common land whether or not there is any prescribed information about maps and statements, deposited under s.15A of the Commons Act 2006, in the register maintained under s.15B(1) of the Commons Act 2006 or under s.31A of the Highways Act 1980 pertaining to this address?

3. Can you also advise If entries are present how can copies of the matters registered be obtained and where can the register be inspected?

1. Any information provided by the Council is chargeable under EIR or the Charges for Property Searches Regulations. The current cost for a search is £6.00 plus VAT per individual property or registered area

2. The Council can only provide information about registered land for which a charge is made as in 1 above. Landowner Statements (s.31a Highways Act 1980) are available to view on the LCC website.

3. The registers can be inspected free of charge at our offices Lincoln. An appointment system is in operation. A person needs to send a request via E Mail to highway_searches@lincolnshire.gov.uk to sort out.
