1. Lincolnshire County Council does not have an Education Committee. Its Scrutiny Committee responsible for education issues is the Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee. The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board also considers education matters. Both these committees include three co-opted (non-councillor) members, two Parent Governor Representatives (PGRs) and one Church Representative (CR).
2. Co-opted members can vote but on education matters only.
3.
a. The two PGRs are elected by the parent governors of Local Authority maintained schools in Lincolnshire. The CR is nominated by the Church of England Diocese
b. Yes, PGRs represent the views of parent governors and the CR represents the Church of England Diocese.
c. Parent Governor Representatives and Church Representatives
