SARS-COV2 Outbreaks in Educational Settings - Find a freedom of information request

This request relates to analysis of the most recent surveillance report published by Public Health
England of a large number [122] of SARS-COV2 outbreaks in educational settings [also described
as in-school transmission]. Both of these requests are made in the public interest:

1. How many outbreaks of SARS-COV2 have been documented within the geographical area that
comprises your local authority - in educational settings - up to and including the 18th September?
[Two or more test-confirmed cases of SARS-COV2 among individuals associated with an
educational setting with illness onset dates within 14 days].

2. Please provide the names of the educational settings within which SARS-COV2 transmission
has been evidenced - within the geographical area that comprises your local authority - up to and
including the 18th September

1. There are a total of 8 education settings that Lincolnshire County Council is aware of that have had two or more confirmed cases of COVID-19 up to and including the 18th of September.

2. We have no firm evidence that transmission of SARS-COV2 occurred within the educational settings for any of the cases notified to us. It is likely in many cases that transmission occurred within the community, but to further identify settings in which transmission has been evidenced would be speculation at this point.
