Care leavers in semi-independent residential accommodation - Find a freedom of information request

1. Of the 178 Care Leavers between the ages of 16-18 that the council has, are you able to please tell me how many of these children are living in semi-independent residential accommodation provided by unregulated private companies?

2. Please could you also let me know which companies the council uses to house these individuals?

1. 25 x care leavers between the ages of 16-18 are living in semi-independent residential accommodation provided by unregulated private companies.

2. The following companies are used:

a. Lincolnshire Support Partnership with Nacro as lead organisation. This is a Council funded project which is overseen by a senior manager and contract managed on a monthly basis. The supported accommodation is designed to support young people to independence, and every young person has a support plan with Nacro.

b. Locate Accommodation Ltd. Locate are a specialist provider offering support to unaccompanied asylum seeking young people. This is a Council funded service and contract managed on a monthly basis.

c. Sixteen Plus. Spot purchased short term supported housing – only five young people are currently housed with Sixteen plus.
