That an order be made seeking to add, to the Definitive Map and Statement, a public footpath between Ings Lane and Belchford Public Footpath No.27. There is sufficient evidence to reasonably allege that public footpath rights have arisen by implied common law dedication. Submitted with the application was a map marked with the route applied for and included a length of path running along Ings Lane. However, this part of the application route is not to be included in the Order that is being made for the footpath. There is an existing Order, made on 14 January 1992 (in respect to Belchford DMMO 11), which seeks to record Ings Lane as a public bridleway (between the ford and the Bluestone Heath Road). Therefore, the County Council has decided not to make a further order for the Ings Lane’ section of the application route.
