Wildfires 2016 - 2018 - Find a freedom of information request

1. I would like to know how many wildfires have occurred in 2018, 2017 and 2016.
2. I would also like to know the cause of these wildfires if this information is available.

Please note, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue's recording system does not have a specific property category for "wildfire" so this response has been based upon the property type of "heathland or moorland" as this is the closest match.

1. 2016 - Three Fires

   2017 - Three Fires

   2018 - Four Fires.

2. 2016 - Two from an unknown cause, One from careless discarded smokers materials

2017 - One deliberate ignition, One caused by careless discarded smokers materials, One spread from a camp fire

2018 - Two from unknown causes, Two were spread from controlled burning.
