We may also process some special category (sensitive) data such as:

• physical or mental health details
• race or ethnic origin

• necessary to comply with a legal obligation
• necessary for reasons of substantial public interest

• provided to us directly by you
• provided by another individual, such as a carer or family member
• provided by another organisation involved in the provision of services such as healthcare, social and welfare organisations

• organisations and professions involved in the provision of services such as healthcare, social and welfare organisations
• other local authorities and district councils
• providers of goods and services
• Department for Transport
• police and other law enforcement authorities

We are required to retain your information for as long as is necessary, after which it will be securely destroyed.
