1. Under the Freedom of Information Act I am seeking information related to blue badges for the periods

  • 2015-2016
  • 2016-2017
  • 2017-2018
  • 2018-2019 (as up to date as possible)

a. How many blue badge applications were received?

b. How many of these applications were successful?

c. At the end of each period, how many blue badge holders were registered under your authority?

d. How many reports were received by the council of blue badge fraud?

e. How many prosecutions have taken place for misuse of a blue badge?

Decision

a. 

  • 2015 – 2014 - 514 blue badge applications were received
  • 2016 – 14899 blue badge applications were received
  • 2017 – 15867 blue badge applications were received
  • 2018 – 16020 blue badge applications were received
  • 2019 to end of June) – 9342 Blue badge applications were received

 

b.

  • 2015 – 13986  blue badge applications were successful
  • 2016 – 14406 blue badge applications were successful
  • 2017 – 15389  blue badge applications were successful
  • 2018 – 15842 blue badge applications were successful
  • 2019 to date (as at end of June) – 9111 blue badge applications were successful

 

c. Lincolnshire County Council are unable to supply the information how many blue badges were registered under this authority – the Department for Transport should be able to provide this nationally and broken down into Local Authority.

 

d. In 2019 Lincolnshire County Council have received 16 misuse reports of blue badges to date (as at end of June)

 

e. Zero prosecutions have taken place for misuse of a blue badge
