The Council determined not to make a modification order because the claimed footpath rights have been formally extinguished by a Public Path Order confirmed on 27 January 2020. An alternative public footpath linking the A15 Sleaford and in turn Folkingham village to public footpaths 2 and 3 was created by a Public Path Order also confirmed on 27 January 2020. This new route is called Folkingham Public Footpath 1154. The Legal Event Modification Order made on 28 January 2020 amended the Definitive Map and Statement, the legal record of public rights of way, in consequence of these legal changes to the public rights of way network.
