The child is in  the  care of  the  local  authority or has previously been in the care  of the local authority and has been adopted or become subject to a residence  order or special guardianship order including those children who appear to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
2. A brother of sister on roll at the academy at the time of application.
3. Children of staff members employed at the school
4. The school is the nearest one to the home address by straight line distance.
5. Straight line distance from home to the school, priority given to those living closest.

If distance is not sufficient to distinguish between applicants for the last place then a lottery will be conducted.
